PlateWise generates weekly meal plans and shopping lists based on the budget, dietary preferences and body details you provide. It also grades grocery products using a published methodology.

PlateWise is an informational meal-planning tool designed to help users organize grocery shopping and meals. It is not a medical device, a dietitian, or a substitute for professional advice.

Meal plans, nutrition estimates, prices, and product grades are generated or assisted by AI and other automated systems. They may occasionally contain errors or outdated information. Always verify important information, including allergens and ingredient labels, before making purchasing or dietary decisions.

Do not rely on PlateWise for decisions about a medical condition, allergy, pregnancy, or any specific dietary requirement. Consult a doctor or registered dietitian instead. We cannot guarantee a plan is free of any allergen.

Costs shown are estimates, not quoted prices. They are generated by an AI model and vary by store, region, brand and time. Your actual receipt will differ. Nutrition figures are likewise approximate.

PlateWise is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any grocery retailer or food manufacturer named in the app.

Grades are calculated by a fixed formula from ingredient lists, described in full on our methodology page. They reflect our weighting of processing and additives, not an official safety assessment. No brand pays to be rated or can request a change.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information — plans built on inaccurate body details or allergies may not suit you. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use PlateWise.

You agree not to:

• • Attempt to access another user's account or data
• • Automate, script or scrape the service, or evade usage limits
• • Resell or redistribute generated plans as your own product
• • Interfere with the service's operation or security

Fair-use limits apply to plan generation. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or impose disproportionate cost.

PlateWise is provided as-is. Features may change or be withdrawn at any time.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, natural disasters, cyberattacks, or failures of third-party providers.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlateWise and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to money spent on groceries, dietary outcomes, or reliance on any estimate, grade or plan.

In no event shall PlateWise's total liability to you for all claims exceed the greater of $100 or the total amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

You keep ownership of the information you enter. You grant us the limited permission needed to process it and generate plans for you. Except for the information you provide, all content, software, logos, text, designs, grading methodology, and other intellectual property in PlateWise belong to PlateWise or its licensors and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without permission.

You may stop using PlateWise at any time and delete your account in the app under Settings, where available, or by emailing plate.wise@outlook.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or if continued access could harm PlateWise or other users.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be signalled by the date above and, where significant, notified in the app. Continued use after a change means acceptance.

Please read this section carefully. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute or claim arising out of your use of PlateWise will be resolved through binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, and you waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
